Nouns can be count or noncount. If it is countable, it has a plural form.
Most regular plurals are formed by adding 's': book=>books
Words that end in a sssssssss or zzzzzzzzz or shhhhhhhshhhhhh type of sound usually need 'es'.
For words that end in 'y', it is important to look at the letter on the left of the 'y'.
If the letter is a vowel, then just add s for the plural. toy=>toys.
If the letter on the left of the 'y' is a consonant, change the 'y' to 'i' and add 'es'. party=>parties
Many words that end in 'o' form their plural by adding 'es'; tomato=>tomatoes
Be careful! There are some irregular plural forms too!
